Our commitment

We want everyone who visits this site to be able to read it, navigate it and contact us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement applies to every page on this demonstration website.

Conformance status

This website conforms fully to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Fully conforms means that the content meets every Level A and Level AA success criterion without exception.

What you can expect

• Text and interface colours meet contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1, and most body text exceeds 7:1.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus outline on every link, button and form field.
• Pages have a logical heading structure, landmarks and a link to skip straight to the main content.
• Images have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content, and layouts work on screens from 320 pixels wide.
• Animation is kept to a minimum and respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
• Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in words, not by colour alone.
• The tabs on the home page work without JavaScript.

How we tested

We test every page with automated checks and by hand: with a keyboard, with screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA on Windows), at 200% and 400% zoom, and in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any accessibility barriers on this site. If you find one, please tell us.
